Unfortunately, we spend a large part of our time at the job. If you work in sales or in a business environment (bank, multinational company, lawyer office) you have to wear suits.
Do we wear suits only at job? Well, I’ll say no, you can wear a suit also when:
– You go to an interview (obvious, it depends on the employer, but if you have an office outfit you can’t go wrong)
– You go to an opera performance (where everybody is elegant) if you don’t have an evening dress ready
– You are involved in politics and mass-media is following you everywhere
2014 business dress trend is quite generous so it can be worn in many occasions as you have seen before.
To wear a suit or to dress office generally isn’t a bad thing, on the contrary. Actually, it isn’t easy at all (you have to clean the suit, to wash it, to iron the shirts) so huge respect for those you can do it.
The suit is no doubt a symbol of decency and elegance so, when you have the chance, don’t hesitate wearing it.
