Fashion industry – winning or loosing?

According to the New York Magazine, the fashion industry at world wide level suffered in 2012 a loss of 9 billion dollars because of bought, worn and returned products. This bad habit which brings a lot of losses has become common not only in the US but also in Europe.

Rich Mellon, vice-president at the US Retail National Federation declared about this aspect: “It has to be a perfect balance between financial losses and customer care”. Well yes, it’s true; the border between those two is very thin…

This is just one of the situations; actually, for the catwalk fashion to become profitable it has, as I’ve always said, to be validated by the street.
